1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible
This 1962 Lincoln Continental convertible was produced in November 1961 and reportedly sold new in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Refinished in green over a black and white interior, the car is powered by a rebuilt 430ci V8 paired with a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission.

Features include a power-operated convertible top, chrome bumpers, 15″ steel wheels with covers, rear-hinged rear doors, and walnut veneer trim. Work completed under current ownership has included a repaint and an interior refresh with replacement upholstery, while work under previous ownership reportedly included rebuilding the engine and transmission. This fourth-generation Continental was acquired by the seller in 2009 and is now offered with a British Columbia registration document in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in Champagne (T), the car was repainted under current ownership in green. Features include a power-operated black convertible top, chrome bumpers, quad headlights, rear-hinged rear doors, and bright trim. The front bumper is dinged under the passenger headlight, and the seller states the rear bumper has been re-chromed. Pitting is present on the door handles and trim, and the weatherstripping for the doors is missing.
Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome-finished hubcaps and are mounted with whitewall tires. Standard equipment includes power-assisted steering and drum brakes.

The cabin features two-tone black and white vinyl that replaces the factory beige upholstery, and replacement walnut veneer trim adorns the dash. Equipment includes a power-adjustable front bench seat, a front center arm rest, and lap belts. The seller notes the analog clock, the power door locks, and HVAC controls are inoperative, and the seat switch and the automatic rear windows do not work. The radio has reportedly been replaced with a 1963 AM/FM unit.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles and has reportedly rolled over. Approximately 5k miles were added under current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.
The front-hinged hood opens to reveal a 430ci V8 that reportedly features a four-barrel intake manifold from a 1963 Continental and a Holley carburetor. The seller states that a Pertronix electronic ignition conversion has been installed, and an oil change has been completed in the last 1k miles.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission. Rust repair was completed on the driver-side floor pan according to the seller, and undercoating has been applied. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
